Shepherd of the Hills Drama
 The Shepherd of the Hills has been a cherished American tradition for over 100 years. Since the publication of the book in 1907, visitors have been flocking into the beautiful Ozark hills of Missouri to see the places so eloquently described in Harold Bell Wrights book, which was based on actual events. In the early 1920's the first reenactments were performed on the original homestead of the main characters in the book. Those first shows were so popular that an amphitheatre was carved into the hillside overlooking Old Matt's grist mill and now, 50 years later, visitors are still charmed by the inspiring and powerful story.Season: 05/01 - 10/23 Theater: Shepherd of the Hills See other shows at this theater Ticket price: $39.26 for Adult $19.10 for Child (4-16 years) Show tickets are subject to availability. |
