This talented singer/songwriter/entertainer has made a name for himself by keeping traditional music alive, most notably through Hank’s songs – music he says is just as fresh and alive today as it was then. After ten years of playing bluegrass, Church returned to country music and has, according to the producer RFD-TV’s popular show Midwest Country, become the show’s most popular act. He received the coveted “Rising Legend” award which is given to fast-rising traditional country artists. Church has recorded CDs featuring his original music as well as tributes to Hank Williams and continues to delight audiences with the same charisma Hank was known for. Marty Stuart is an entertainer in every sense of the word. His sharp clothes coupled with his infectious enthusiasm in front of an audience make for a performance nothing short of sensational. For two seasons he has hosted The Marty Stuart Show on RFD-TV, a show that is ever-gaining momentum. Stuart, who is married to country queen Connie Smith, does not hesitate to credit his musical “compadres” for his ability to create great music and entertainment. Each episode of The Marty Stuart Show features fellow country music stars of past and present, which serve as a testament to both his desire to work with, and appreciation for other musicians. To watch Ronnie Reno is to witness living traditional and bluegrass history. Ronnie has had one of the most colorful, diverse and distinguished careers in the music industry. On the country side, he has tourd as an opening act and band member for Merle Haggard, toured with Mel Tillis, done studio work for Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty and Willie Nelson, and written hits for both Haggard and Twitty. On the bluegrass side, he spent several years providing part of the trademark harmonies of the Osborne Brothers.

Shotgun Red is no stranger to the stage. The loveable, quick witted puppet, joined by his right-hand man, Steve Hall, has been a part of the Nashville entertainment scene since the 1980’s. After being found in a Minnesota hobby shop the puppet, nicknamed Shotgun Red, soon became an integral part of Steve Hall’s music acts. So integral, in fact, that he went on to be the star of the show, and in 1982 began a career on Ralph Emery’s Nashville Now! program that lasted over a decade. Together Shotgun Red and Hall have become an institution within the Nashville community. The pair has regularly appeared on a variety of TV shows, including HEE HAW and Country Clips, played shows at the Grand Ole’ Opry, and were the main attraction on Nashville’s General Jackson Showboat for over twelve years. Their unique brand of country humor continues to draw laughs wherever they go. Teaming up with Steve’s 7-piece Country Comedy Showband, Shotgun Red is coming to RFD-TV The Theatre to perform two weeks worth of shows. Inspiration Tower is Branson's "landmark on the horizon" -- a massive 230' tall structure located on Inspiration Point in The Shepherd of the Hills Homestead. Two glass elevators transport visitors to the spacious, enclosed observation deck. You can also walk a few steps down to the open-air deck. The panoramic views available are absolutely phenomenal, in any season. On a clear day, you can see over 90 miles. There's also a specialty gift shop, snack bar and restrooms on the ground level.

The Shepherd of the Hills has been a cherished American tradition for over 100 years. Since the publication of the book in 1907, visitors have been flocking into the beautiful Ozark hills of Missouri to see the places so eloquently described in Harold Bell Wrights book, which was based on actual events. In the early 1920's the first reenactments were performed on the original homestead of the main characters in the book. Those first shows were so popular that an amphitheatre was carved into the hillside overlooking Old Matt's grist mill and now, 50 years later, visitors are still charmed by the inspiring and powerful story.

A visit to The Shepherd of the Hills Historic Homestead is an excellent way to learn more about the characters and the history behind one of America 's best loved stories! You'll visit Old Matt's Cabin,Inspiration Point (the second highest peak in Missouri), Morgan Community Church, Old Matt's grist mill, The Old Mill Theatre, and Jenning's Still. The tour lasts 1 1/2 hours.
